Event Details
Did you know that 1 in 10 people are diagnosed with dyslexia? However, we know that Dyslexia Doesn't Define Us! Join us at the Cozby Library for stories read by children with dyslexia overcoming their difficulties, crafts, cotton candy, and more! In addition to the festivities, we will also have two informative sessions from dyslexia specialists for parents and children to learn tips and tricks to help ease the frustration in those facing dyslexia in their daily lives. We can't wait to share library resources to help you achieve academic goals, too.
All ages are welcome. Space is limited and registration is required. Please register each child that will be attending. A parent or guardian is required to accompany children at the event.
This program is presented by Amber Warrington, Special Education team lead at New Tech, and sponsored by: Alyssa Moog with Dapper Dwellings Group, Ashley Cappelli with Lone Star Car and Truck, Emalie Allred with Allred Capital Management, and Peggy Lewis Taylor with The Butterfly School.
