Event Details
At this service learning opportunity, teens will learn about the service crafting efforts of the Knit Wits and Material Girls groups that operate out of the Coppell Senior & Community Center. Library staff and other community members will teach teens how to crochet baby washcloths or loom knit baby hats.
Instructions, supplies, and snacks provided. Finished products will be donated to local organizations. Teens will have the opportunity to bring materials home to complete their products. Once finished washcloths and hats are returned to the Library, teens will receive credit for community service hours.
