LitBox FAQs

How do I pick up my box?

Once you have your box, you'll use the self check to borrow the books inside. Books are returned normally. The rest of the items in the box are yours to keep.

Do I have to have a library card to participate?

Yes. Since the books inside the box are library books, you'll need to check out the box at the self-check. You'll get to keep everything in the box except for the books.

How do you pick the books?

Book selections correlate to the LitBox theme. We'll use library/educator journals, reading lists, and our knowledge of new and notable titles to make some awesome picks. When you register,  you'll indicate whether you prefer to read from the Juvenile or Teen section, so we have the most fitting books selected for you. You can also tell us about what you typically do and don't like to read. If you LOVE fantasy, but are meh about realistic fiction, let us know when you register!

What if I don't like a month's theme?

If you don't like the theme one month, skip it. :) You can check back next month on the theme and decide whether to register.
