Event Details
Kolam is a geometric art form practiced in many parts of southern India and in Indian households worldwide. Learn about the cultural significance of drawing kolam and practice some simple patterns. Then learn to design your own. Participants will receive a sketchbook to decorate and continue practicing at home. Kolam is limited only by your creativity. All supplies will be provided, but participants may bring their own markers or colored pencils to use if preferred.
This program is open to adults age 18 and up. Registration is required.
