Event Details

Coppell resident and artist Alli Rogers Andreen will display her pieced and quilted fiber tapestries called The Block Party. The tapestries echo the visual language of suburban homes and neighborhoods. Simultaneously vibrant, regimented, and irregular, the colorful materials create a playful environment that encourages viewers to find familiarity, almost as if they're looking at stacks of colorful blocks in a playroom.

Alli is an artist and museum educator from Coppell, Texas. She has a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting from Texas State University and an MA in Art Education from the University of North Texas. Alli has shown her art in several locations in North Texas, including Arts Fort Worth, East Lubbock Art House, Art Tooth, and Sunset Art Studios.
